off to Copenhagen again 🍓🍿

Scandi style genius, Anna Winck is definitely one of the coolest girls on Instagram right now and a must follow. This look in particular is perfect for British summer days and super easy to create yourself. Wear a buttoned-down denim jacket as a top by styling it with a midi or maxi skirt and add a pop of colour with some mules. Then, top off with a ’90s shoulder bag and some cool sunglasses and you’ve got the look down.

Lizzy from @shotfromthestreet is one of the first people you should turn to for advice on how to effortlessly put together some really chic looks. Take notes and pair your favourite mini summer dress of the moment – preferably in a ditsy print – with some black slide-ons. If you’re planning on heading out in this, we’d add a straw bag and perhaps a sun hat.

A post shared by Edie-Rose (@edielibertyrose) on Jul 12, 2020 at 3:18am PDT

Influencer Edie-Rose went for brights with a ’70s feel on a recent midnight-snack run and we’re instantly inspired. To master the look yourself, opt for some fitted flares in a bold pattern to take centre stage. Add a simple top, a fun jacket and a matching bag to nail the coolest way to dress for summer evenings…

The usual route

For a crisp and clean outfit option, mixing ecru shades with light blue is a certified way to master the season. Start with some neutral denim shorts and a white cami with an oversized shirt thrown over – or you could tie it around the waist on extra hot days. Add a black bag and sunglasses for some simple accessorising and opt for loafers instead of sandals to give an androgynous nod to the look.

You probably already have your perfect summer floral dress hanging in your wardrobe right now but this look has just given us a lesson in the easiest way to give it a cool girl edge. The trick? Lots of jewellery. And don’t hold back: add everything from big gold earrings to necklaces, bracelets and whatever else you have around to make the look feel super bohemian.

White on white is something we’ve been seeing all season and it’s probably safe to say it will be a never-ending trend. Pair some slouchy white or ecru jeans with a white tee or vest and break up the look with black accessories – it really is that simple. This outfit pairs best with a hot day and not so well with a bowl of tomato pasta.

summer in the city ⛱⛱

We had to mention Anna Winck again because her outfits are just that good. Bikini season came in quite a different way this year, meaning we’ve become pretty accustomed to styling them in day-to-day outfits, even when we’re not at the beach. Switch out a summer top for a bright bikini top, add a mini skirt and some flip flops then finish with a tote bag to capture an ultra-Cali vibe.

Now for the styling part we promised….
